Chinese hot pot is the perfect food – during the long cold winter months it keeps you warm, especially with a bit of dog added. This because the Chinese believe ingesting canines makes our bodies warm better than the other meats.
Ingredients
- 1 dog
- Mix of spices, with noodles
- Vegetables
1. Choose the breed of your liking. China is a splendid place for this, since nobody will give the stink-eye as you choose the Spot of your liking from the cage. Think your local seafood restaurants lobster aquarium – same thing. If you decided to experiment with what you got handy, it’s always polite to restrain your hunger to the household pets you actually own – do not covet thy neighbours cattle!
2. Exterminate Fifi. Carve her up into thin slices. Remember – always cut fibre-wise.
3. Get rid of the hair
4. Cook the canine.
5. Sink the pieces in the hot pot or mix with tasty sauce and serve with miso, rice and vegetables.
Setting
For the benefit of the diners with weak stomachs, the traditional ambience of Chinese restaurant with lanterns and porcelain crockery takes some edge away from what it is that actually waits on the plate. Hopefully this will do the trick, since the dish is very good, with taste no worse or better than other Chinese food.
Man’s best friend can be that on our plates too!
Now chew away!
